Twelve Days of Christmas Day 1, “My Favorite Things to do for Christmas”

As long as I can remember, and that’s quite far back  . . . , I have looked forward to the Christmas Holidays!  As a young child, it was Santa’s coming with his reindeer and presents! When my family comes over, there’s all this great food and desserts to eat!  Best of all no school and, I get to stay up late!  Now as an adult, my list has somewhat changed but I’ve learned to appreciate the Holidays rather than dread them!  I’ve put aside the worry and anxiety of how I’m going to pay bills and buy presents, because I know that’s not why I celebrate Christmas!  I anticipate doing the simple things that make me happy, and when I’m happy it has an impact on anyone who’s around me!

A nighttime drive-thru to see the beautiful Christmas decorations, lights and nativity scenes is my all time favorite.  I used to walk Downtown Chicago and look in awe at the Macy’s Store Christmas Window Display and, it was spectacular!  Going to the Christmas Parade to see all the floats and entertainers was better than watching on Television!

I now have a choice to decorate the house with or without a live or aluminum tree, it’s whatever I feel like doing. I still love to put out the special ornaments that hold precious memories, stringing the lights and putting the garnishing on the mantle of my fireplace, light the wood and hear it crackle and, then being able to sit back in my recliner with some hot cinnamon tea or apple cider and relax and enjoy the view, brings me deep satisfaction.

Finally, watch Christmas Movies until I fall asleep!  Then go to bed and listen to Christmas carols all night and, I sigh thinking how truly blessed I am to live such a good life!

Plan Ahead Now, So You Won’t Have Regrets Later!

As we grow older, we should become wiser!  This means that we shouldn’t continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, that we learn from our past so we can avoid the same pitfalls and short-comings that we and others who have been victims can now become achievers!  Through the years, I have not always made the best choices for myself, mostly due to the lack of knowledge and my own ignorance.  But, now I know better and I hope that whoever reads this will take my advice and counsel.

As Christians we endeavor to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing unto God, in spite of our short-comings, our goal on this earth should be to live healthy, productive and prosperous lives. Then why is it, that the majority of the men and women professing Christianity don’t think it’s necessary to be prepared for things that can affect our future well-being?  I believe for most it is that we are not taught how vitally important self-preservation is, and what preventive measures we need to take for our own security.

Fact 1.  We are to prepare ourselves and not be caught off guard by events that can have a lasting impact on our daily and future lives.  I want to ask you these questions and if you answer is NO, then why not?  Do you have a personal whole life or term insurance policy?  Do you have health/medical coverage or insurance? Do you have rental insurance on your apartment or home where you live?

Fact 2.  If not, you should take the time to invest in your own future by having all of these policies in effect.  (Psalms 107:43)  Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

I have heard it said, “I don’t need any insurance because I don’t plan to leave anybody, anything!  They can repossess my home, car and anything cause once I’m gone it won’t matter!”  This is foolish, unwise and extremely selfish for any individual to be so carefree with your life that you don’t make preparation and take necessary precautions to make sure you don’t leave the financial burden and responsibility to others of making sure you have a decent funeral and burial.  It’s an embarrassment and humiliation for family and friends to have to ask for alms and charity to bury someone they cared for, but who didn’t care enough for themselves to set aside provisions by having a life insurance policy to at least cover the expenses involved.

Fact 3.  (Proverbs 13:22)  A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.  We are commanded to be doers of God’s Word, yet many Christians don’t have adequate life insurance for their own home-going, much less leave any additional monies to pay off debts that were incurred during their lifetime.  Like the prodigal’s son in Luke 15:13 we squander and waste our monies on material possessions, yet we refuse to provide security for our own lives and that of our immediate household.  We know to do good, but don’t!  Life insurance is affordable, it gets more expensive the older you become, however you just need to find a policy that works for you and your family and like other important bills have it automatically deducted from your bank account monthly so you don’t forget and let it lapse.  You want to have peace of mind, knowing that you made the right choices before you leave this world.

Fact 4.  When I was younger, I only had medical/health insurance when I was working and it was automatically deducted from my paycheck. When I wasn’t employed, I took a risk and didn’t have health insurance for many years and thankfully, I didn’t get sick to the point where I needed surgery!  Oh yes, I did my best to avoid visits to the ER, and Urgent Car for it was definitely expensive without health insurance.  If you are over 50 years old and don’t have health insurance check with AARP website they can provide you with a list of health care options that will work for you.

Fact 5.  Finally, in some States such as Texas you are required to have rental insurance on your apartment prior to you getting the keys for entry.  Private landlords may differ, but it’s still safer to insure your personal belonging from theft, fire, floods, weather related incidents, acts of God, loss and damage.  Having a good home and/or storage rental insurance policy can save you a lot of heartache, and money.  “An ouch of prevention is better than a pound of cure-used to say that it is better and easier to stop a problem, illness, etc., from happening than to stop or correct it after it has started.” Merriam-Webster Dictionary.  Don’t put off what you need to do today, for tomorrow is not promised to no man.  I hope that article has helped you to make the right choices by planning ahead now, so you have no regrets later.

How To Fight and Win the War on Viruses, Germs and Bacteria

My Arsenal Against the Corona Virus

An old proverb, “cleanliness is next to godliness!” I’m going to share some tips on how and what to do to fight the Corona virus.   When we are done, reading, praying and trusting in God’s Word, let’s get busy cleaning and go to war against dirt, dust, grime, germs, and bacteria in our surroundings!

Here are some products to fight against germs and bacteria!  Clorox Bleach, Hand Sanitizer or Alcohol pads, Hand wipes, spray disinfectants, Murphy’s Oil Soap for wood, Spic and Span, Mop and Glo, hand soap with antibacterial, Scrubbing Bubbles, Windex, vinegar and water, ammonia, and be smart stock up on these products when they’re on sale, don’t wait for a crisis to happen!

1. Wipe down with disinfectant or multi-surface cleaner electronic devices when they are off!

Computers, tablets, cell phones printers, monitors are electronic and technical equipment including ear plugs, and headsets, that we handle with our hands and even put near our face!  Many times they are “touched” by multiple hands at work, school, at home, and while traveling.  But we forget to sanitize these things and they are susceptible to germs and bacteria once they are touched.

It’s best to buy and use antibacterial hand soap, in the bathroom and kitchen area, some hand soaps have fragrances and moistures but are ineffective when fighting germs and bacteria.  Refrain from using bar soaps when you have other individuals at home who may use the same bar of soap!  Toothbrushes should have a cover rather than being left open for dust and germs to settle upon.

Use Ajax, Comet or a similar product to clean and sanitize surfaces especially hardcore dirt and grime.  Make sure the bathtub gets cleaned after each person bathes or takes a shower!

Avoid public showers, bathing facilities and pools when you are sick with any type of cold or virus, it can spread on the surfaces where you walk or touch and many places don’t clean their pool or shower area daily!

Wearing a mask isn’t going to help much, if you’re coughing and the germs are going right back into your system!  It is to prevent others from getting the germs or viruses that have infected your body, stay home and quarantine yourself, if you are sick!

Take time to vacuum before you start deep cleaning surfaces!  When you vacuum all the dust doesn’t settle in the machine!  It can travel within the atmosphere to lie upon other surfaces, clothing or even people.

Take area rugs outside away from the house door, patio or porch.  Once you start shaking or beating out the dust it can travel right next door, or even back into the house since the windows and doors to the patio are open, not to mention your clothing!

2.  Medical and Health Issues:

Be sure to check with your Primary Care Physician if you have any physical issues relating to the symptoms of cold, flu, which could develop into pneumonia and weaken your immune system to any type of bacteria viruses.  Those who have environmental allergies such as sinus infections, bronchitis, asthma, or respiratory issues need to make sure that you have your medications available, and there products such as the Vicks Steam Inhaler, Vicks Mists when used with the pads or liquids helps open up your nasal and lungs passages so you can breathe and rest easier.

While many people are buying home supplies such as toilet tissue, we forget the Kleenex and facial tissue to wipe our noses!  Don’t cough or sneeze into your hands, better to turn your head and do it into the inner part of your arm and then be sure to wash your clothing at night, because those germs can spread once you take them off and lay them down!

(Deuteronomy 30:14)  But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.  (Old Testament)

(Romans 10:8)  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (10:9)  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

(Psalm 91:5)  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; (91:6) Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. (91:7)  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. (91:8) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. (91:9) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; (91:10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

How to Defeat the Spirit of Depression

Dream Big, The Possibilities Are Unlimited!

Have you ever had so much on your agenda to do, that it seemed like you would not be able to accomplish the things that need to get done?  That the things to do lists, keeps getting longer instead of shorter?  That can be discouraging, especially when you are trying to get ahead, rather than behind.  Perhaps what we need to do is stop and take some time for reflections.  To evaluate what our priorities should be, and move them to the top of our lists and push back or even remove those things that are not essential to our survival or well-being.

I have been guilty of starting one project and then before I can complete it, begin another.  Down through the years, I realized that I am good at multi-tasking.  However, it’s very easy to become distracted and lose focus of what is really important by doing too many things at the same time.  Even worst, the things that could have been completed successfully may still remain undone because we overload ourselves with too much at one time and instead we now have multiple tasks that are incomplete, unfinished projects waiting for our attention.  Hence we become frustrated because we haven’t moved forward and the pile has gotten larger instead of smaller.

This is why it’s important to make time for reflections that will have a positive effect on the spiritual (those things pertaining to the realm of the spirit in which we cannot see) and natural realm (those things pertaining to this world and what we can see).  We need to sit down, stop what we’re doing and re-evaluate our lives, because our needs change daily and what may have been a priority yesterday is not so important today.  There is an old true proverb, “don’t put off what needs to be done today, for tomorrow.”  Every day first thing in the morning we should start our day, with prayer and meditation.  The Bible says, “I love them, that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me” Proverbs 8:17.  When we take time to acknowledge God (the Creator and Heavenly Father) we should ask for His guidance before we start doing anything, “Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day” Psalms 25:5.

We will be able to see, hear and think more clearly when we take time for reflections.  Things that may have seemed to be un-surmountable and impossible no longer pose a threat to wreck havoc and discord in our lives; we can begin to remove the clutter that surrounds us by removing those things that are just taking up space!  We will cease to be confused, disoriented and miserable.  When we take time for reflections we gain peace of mind and spirit which will enable us to easily accomplish the tasks and goals set before us, and we will have good success!  “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  Joshua 1:8

True Compassion Moves You To Action

The Word of God tells us that the poor and needy we will have with us always. So what are you doing to help them?  (Mark 14:7)  For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

We can quote scriptures, talk, preach and teach about what the Bible says, but the proof is in what you do, not what you say.  Ministry is more than standing behind a pulpit, or even before a congregation, an assembly or a group of people, ministry is the gospel of Jesus Christ in action.  Everywhere that Jesus went, he did good.  (Act 10:38)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.   I ask you an important question, how much good are you doing for others?  I have never been content with just having Sunday Worship, Thursday night Bible Study and Friday night Prayer and Evangelism.  We have been so busy doing church work, many leaders and pastors have neglected to help those in need, in our neighborhoods, communities, cities and countries and even some of their own parishioners.  Have you become so busy building and expanding church facilities to hold more people, rather than food pantries and kitchens to help feed the hungry or care centers well stocked with supplies, classrooms to further educate and teach the                     young and the old new skills, or offer employment and career training?   Why don’t we build and have outreach and community centers attached to our churches, so the young people have a place to go after school and on the weekends that is safe and supervised?  I recently asked a pastor, if God expanded your ministry to a larger facility, would you be willing to be in ministry full time and dedicate your time and effort to utilize the facility to its full potential?  Why should God allow you to further expand your borders and enlarge your territories, and you continue with the same old schedule and program?  The building has changed, so must your programs and ideas!

Before I became a pastor, I was involved in Mass Media Communication which included Radio and Television Broadcasts,{this was before Access Cable and the Word Network} people gave donations so that I could share the gospel with the world and not just those I have the privilege of ministering to regularly; and from those years my ministry expanded from those who were fed, clothe, educated and ministered to through Evangelism and Outreach to a Church/Ministry organization.  {Voices of Deliverance Evangelistic Outreach Ministries} which I founded in 1972 now added a Church in 1991 to the organization.

In 2005 God sent me to help pastors and ministries in Texas, I literally closed the church in Michigan, sent my licensed and ordained ministers out to fulfill their calling in ministry and started a new and greater work, Oasis Worship Center Interdenominational Ministries Fellowship.  The mission God gave me “Bring Unity to the Body of Christ.”  The Lord told me, “My people are divided, there is no strength and motivation to work together as one, because leaders don’t trust one each other, they need guidance.”  You can read more about both ministries on their websites.   When God opened new doors, new challenges came also, with bigger test and trials and stronger opposition from the enemy.  The strongman set up walls, that had to be torn down, I had to jump over hurdles thrown my way from people even those in ministry who felt and expressed their opinion that women should not be in a leadership or position of authority, regardless of how much anointing, experience or wisdom she may possess.  Yet these same people have little to nothing to show for what they have done during the time they have been in ministry compared to my 45 years of service.  It’s like watching a tree which stood strong and tall, lose it vitality, the branches fall off and the leaves wither and die.  Why, because the roots of the tree had no room for expansion, so they wrapped themselves up in the confined space that was available and choked the life out of the tree.  Some of you are experiencing this right now, but you don’t understand what is happening to you.                                          P

Let me put it to you bluntly, your brook has dried up and it’s time to move on. 1 Kings 17:1-9.  When I left everything to move to Texas, all the things, people and places that had been familiar to me for over 35 years and went to a place where I was alone except for those I was sent to minister to, it was a test of endurance and sacrifice, I survived the hardships and passed!  Then God began to send and assign people that needed what I had to offer and were grateful to receive it!  It made everything that I had given up worthwhile, it gave my life purpose and meaning, I am walking in my divine destiny.  One of the most important lessons I learned was true compassion and mercy.  I used to wonder why God sent so many needy, poor, destitute, uneducated, illiterate, inexperience, poverty-stricken, unhealthy people to my church ministry?  They came because I offered them hope, they could see a ray of sunshine in the midst of the darkness and gloom that surrounded their daily existence, I not only told them there is a better way, I showed it to them by example and compassion.  God saw he could trust me with wealth and prosperity, that I wouldn’t be greedy and selfish, but I would feed those who were hungry, clothe those who were naked, educate the illiterate, teach those who were without knowledge and share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who were lost. True Compassion moved to Action.

In due season, God elevate me from Evangelist to Pastor and then to an Apostle.  He gave me sons and daughters from all over the world, in countries that I have lived or don’t even know the native language, he has made me a mother and spiritual mentor to His children because I showed COMPASSION.

I am moved to compassion to answer the call for help in my community where I live, I have visited the churches and pastors within my own neighborhoods regardless of the denomination, if they confess Jesus as Lord, they are my brothers and sisters in Christ.  I have established my name and ministry by assisting those who need my expertise in ministry and sharing my knowledge with them. I am moved to compassion to those internationally who I mentor spiritually with words of encouragement and spiritual truth via the internet, which has become a tool for me that is broader than radio and television.  I am doing the same work that I started years ago, but now at a greater level of expansion. Let Compassion move you to Action.  Stop procrastinating and making excuses!  Time waits for no man, and tomorrow isn’t promise, remember only what you do for Christ will last.

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. The Power of Our Confession

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  Proverbs 18:21

The spoken and written word is very powerful in the spiritual and natural realms of both life and even in death.  Words have a profound effect upon those who hear and receive what has or is being said, regardless of the method in which it is delivered.  Words enable us to communicate with each other, even animals, plants and all of creation responds to verbally spoken words.  Therefore we need to be extremely careful of the words that proceed out of our mouths.  “The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.  A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness, but a false witness deceit.  The lips of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.”  Proverbs 12:13,14,17,19 (KJV).  What comes out of a person’s mouth can either give or take away life, including their own!  So many of us are guilty of speaking words that steal, kill and destroy our peace in our minds, bodies and spirits by the negative words that we allow to proceed out of our own mouths.  I was once told, “The word, Can’t, should not be a part of your vocabulary.”  I have learned that the influence of that specific word can hinder and block a person’s progress until we give up and quit trying simply because we believe that we could not perform or do something.  We were told so many untruths in our past that it has hindered us from achieving our goals and fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.  Philippians 4:13 has been rooted deeply within my spirit says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”  Because I confess these words with my mouth and believe them with my whole heart, I am able to do that which seems impossible to others, who do not believe.  Jesus said, (John 10:38) “But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.”  We must learn to believe in ourselves, and the spirit of God that dwells within us shall lead and guide us in all manners of truth.  Trusting in God is something that must be done from the heart, planted in the mind, and spoken with faith verbally.  Proverbs 23:7, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”  We have to choose what we will believe as truth, and then stand firmly upon it, not wavering in Fear, Doubt and Unbelief.  These are demonic spirits that come to conquer and destroy your Faith, Hope and Trust in God.  Romans 1:17, “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The Just shall live by faith.”  Not by what you see, but believing that what has not yet been seen by the natural eye, is discerned by the Holy Spirit. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 1:9.  Therefore, put your confidence in God, hath He not said it, will He not do it?  Confession is good for the soul, it cleanses and purges us from pride, arrogance, doubt, unbelief, rebellion and many other unclean spirits.  Confession brings true repentance and Godly sorrow.  Our confession should be full of Faith, Hope and Trust in our God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask of think, according to the power that worketh in us in accordance to His Word.  Let your confession calleth those which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17) It is not what it looks like, seems like or feels like, it is what I say!  The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it! (Deuteronomy 30:14)

Verbally declare, “This is the day, that the words that I speak, shall line up to the Word of God.  His Words, shall proceed out of my mouth to do me good and not evil, and I shall be strong in the Lord, and of good courage, neither shall I be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord, My God is with me where ever I go and His angels are encamped all around me and my family to protect and keeps us from evil.  The blessings of the Lord it makes me rich, and He adds no sorrow with it!  Every need that I have is being met, according to His riches in glory and I shall not lack for any good thing!  Wealth and riches are in my house this day!  For the Lord is good and His mercy endureth forever!  I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart, that I am healed of all sicknesses, diseases and infirmities through the precious blood of Jesus, I command my physical body to line up precept by precept, bone by bone to God’s Word.  I receive my healing and the manifestation shall be made evident in my body.  I will continue to confess God’s Word daily in my life, and the spoken word shall come to pass on earth as it is in heaven.  Whatsoever things I bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven including any spoken curses, hexes, derogatory, or negative words from the past or present, any spoken or written words that is not the will of my Father shall be made null and void to be cast back into outer darkness.  Now, I release and loose God’s Covenant Blessing and Promises to me and my family from this day hence forth and forever more.  Amen.”  By Apostle Loretta Williams

Being Intimate With God

Since the creation of Adam, Our Heavenly Father has desired to have a close and personal relationship with humanity.  As God walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam, He shared His thoughts, and enjoyed the sweet fellowship that had been established between him and Adam, it was a divine companionship between man and his creator.  A friendship developed through fellowship. Even the angels in heaven could not understand why God took so much pleasure in His relationship with people.  In the Old Testament this questions was asked: (Psalms 8:4) ” What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?  (8:5)  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.  (8:6)  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:”

God has always held a special place of honor for mankind, and when Lucifer was cast out of heaven, He deliberately set out to sabotage and destroy man’s fellowship with God, his arch enemy.  Let’s find out why? Any relationship that is going to last, there must be some guidelines which establishes and maintains it, in order for the relationship to work.  First, you can’t be intimate with God without having a personal relationship with Him.  God doesn’t accept false worship, and He will not allow anything or anyone to come before Him, He demands absolute and total commitment.  In the laws given to Moses for the Children of Israel, God instructed them on how He expected for them to live and keep themselves free from bondage and captivity.

(Exodus 20:2)  “I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  (20:3)  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  (20:4)  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: (20:5)  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;(20:6)  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.  (20:7)  Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”  KJV.  These written commandments were given to the Children of Israel so that they could learn how to commune and fellowship through worship and adoration the God of their fathers, Abraham, Issac and Jacob.  Each of these men had a unique and personal relationship with the Creator and knew His voice, felt His presence and had a Covenant relationship.  They trusted God, and were obedient to His commandments, thereby enjoying the privileges and benefits that He promised them, their children, and their children’s children, and even to them that associated with them would reap the blessings bestowed upon those whom He gave His divine favor.

In order for us to truly understand the importance of establishing our own personal relationship with God, you first must believe in Him and know that He does exist and that He wants to be a part of your daily life.  God doesn’t want you to wait until you get to church or in a worship service to enjoy His presence.  Because of the sacrifice of redemption through salvation in Jesus Christ, man can once again enjoy the sweet communion and fellowship of the Holy Spirit, the anointing power of God. The Bible says, (Amos 3:3) “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” No, they can not.  (Matthew 6:24) “ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

One reason people have a difficult time having a personal relationship with God is because they are “cheaters.”  They want to live and do things that are not pleasing to God, but they still want to reap the benefits and blessings that belong to those who keep His commandments.  God wants every person to be willing to dedicate their whole hearts, minds, body and soul to Him.  He doesn’t want you to give him what’s left over, after you have surrendered your will to Satan and allowed him to have dominion over you.  So many people have missed out on a fulfilling and rewarding life here on this Earth, because they made the wrong choices.  They would rather have a brief time of carnal and worldly pleasure, than an eternity of love, joy and happiness serving God.  Some discover too late, that they have wasted an entire life-time fulfilling the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16).

All relationships require these key elements:

1.)  TRUST: Do you trust God, and can He trust you?  Are you willing to place your life in His hands?  Are you dependable and reliable?  God Is!

2.)  FAITH:  Faith pleases God.  Unbelief is the root of doubt and fear. You must have faith in God, and believe He is who He says He is, and that He can do what He says, He can do.  Believe in His Word, and know that He is able to perform every work according to His spoken and written Word.

3.)  TRUTH & HONESTY:  God can not abide by a liar!  Truth and Honesty is the very core of trust, without these three working together in unity a relationship will falter and fail.

You can’t be intimate with God, without establishing a personal relationship with Him.  Someone once broke down the word intimacy to read: in-to-me-you-see.

Many Christians are wondering and asking God, “why am I not being blessed?”  “Does God know the hardships that I am encountering, does He even care?”  The Word of God says, (1 Peter 5:7) Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you.  God is concerned about us, and every problem or situation that disturbs our peace of mind, body and spirit.  He does know, because God is omniscience.  His knowledge compasses the universe, the earth and all that it contains; His awareness goes beyond our human comprehension and understanding, He knows our sorrows, pain and suffering; so we ask, “why hasn’t God done something about it?”

Because God has given us Free Will.  The ability to choose how we want to live and die, and freedom to decide to obey or disobey His commandments, His guidelines and laws that He has given through the words of the teachers, prophets, priests, pastors, elders, bishops and apostles.  Those who have been called and chosen by God to instruct us so that we can obtain the divine favor and blessings that He desires to give to those who love Him and are called by His Name.

But it requires something from each of us, the willingness to serve and obey, to keep His statues, and to believe and have Faith in His Word.  In order to do this, we must be willing to surrender our will to the will of God in all things.  We must trust in God, more than our ourselves, and we must be willing to be led by those who He has sent to be our shepherds, the watchman over our spiritual souls, teachers and mentors to guide and instruct us in their knowledge and wisdom of God, in accordance to the written Word which has been given for our edification and spiritual growth.

Many people, believers in Christ and those who have not yet come to the knowledge of Truth that Jesus Christ is Lord and that we are joint heirs with Him, that we have a righteous inheritance befitting the sons and daughters of God with our personal names on every covenant promise that is waiting to overtake us with abundance, prosperity and wealth.

So, how do we receive these promises of God?

1.) Your personal relationship with God has to be your First and Main Priority in life.  (Matthew 6:33)  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  God is a jealous God, He said, “have no other gods before me.”  Exodus 20:3.   People have forsaken Him, and seek to serve their fleshly desires rather than serve the Creator.  (Judges 10:13)  Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. We have allowed things to easily distract our attention away from God, and/or alter our focus so that we cease to see our duties and responsibility to God clearly and we lose sight of what is truly important, and that is daily communication through prayer and devotion with God as individuals and corporately within the Body of Christ.

2.) Lack of Faith and Trust hinders the move of God.  (Hebrews 11:6)  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Faith requires action, it motivates individuals to believe in the impossible and to believe in ourselves, to submit and trust a higher power and authority to help us succeed in all our endeavors and refuse to give up, quit or succumb to failure.  Faith in God unleashes the power from within to become successful, prosperous and victorious because we believe, we receive.  (1 Thessalonians 1:3)  Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; (1:4)  Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

3.) Be a Doer of the Word.  In order to receive the Covenant Promises of God in our lives, we must hear and obey the Word of the Lord.  It’s important that we honor our vows of service and commitment unto God, our churches and ministries in which we are bound in marriage as the bride of Christ.  The work of the Lord requires laborers, those who will go out into the vineyard of the Lord and gather in the harvest of souls into the House of the Lord, to be a living witness of the mercy and goodness of God’s grace.  To serve Him with gladness whenever the opportunity prevails, and to set an example for others to follow by being His disciples rather than spectators; we must take every advantage we have in rendering unto God our devotion and our ability to serve in whatever gifts, talents and abilities He has given to us for the up-building of His Kingdom.

4.) GIVE and it shall be GIVEN unto YOU.  (Luke 6:38)  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.  God doesn’t bless people who are greedy, stingy or selfish.  The Laws of sowing and reaping are not based on your spiritual status, church membership or personal finances.  Those who Give unto God, will be blessed by God, regardless of your social or economic status, gender or ethnicity.  (Genesis 28:20)  And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, (28:21)  So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: (28:22)  And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.  When we honor God with our giving, He returns to us more than we can ask or think, and abundant overflow of blessings that we are so prosperous we can bless others. (Malachi 3:10)  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Practice using these four principles in your life daily, they are the keys of life and once you put them in the right keyholes, these principles will open doors that have been denied and closed to you.  God has not abandon, forsaken or forgotten you, He is simply waiting for you to remember your vows of commitment and broken promises, fulfill your duties and obligations towards Him.  Your blessings may have been delayed, but today you can expedite each blessing and promise of God, by reactivating your commitment of service and keeping your vows unto God.
